How does the free business advisory service offered by the Finnish Enterprise Agencies support the establishment and success of new companies, and how should the service be further developed? These questions will be addressed in an extensive impact study conducted in summer 2025. The study is commissioned by Suomen Uusyrityskeskukset (Finnish Enterprise Agencies) and carried out by TU Consulting.
The study will examine the effects of business advisory services from the perspective of companies established between 2020 and 2024. The aim is to understand the impact of the guidance provided to aspiring entrepreneurs and to identify how the services of the Finnish Enterprise Agencies could be improved.
The survey will take place between May and August 2025 and is targeted at entrepreneurs who have received business advice from an Enterprise Agency and started their business during the years 2020–2024. Responding takes only a short moment but plays an important role in improving advisory services for new entrepreneurs and in demonstrating the real impact of these services.
– We want to hear directly from entrepreneurs how we’ve succeeded and where there’s room for improvement. Every response is extremely valuable, as it helps future entrepreneurs receive even higher quality guidance and supports our commitment to social responsibility, says Anneli Komi, CEO of Suomen Uusyrityskeskukset ry.
The results of the study will be used to develop the services of the Finnish Enterprise Agencies and to support communication with clients, funders, and decision-makers. The results will be published at the end of 2025.
