Finnish Enterprise Agencies
Finnish Enterprise Agencies (Suomen Uusyrityskeskukset ry) is a national umbrella organisation that supports, coordinates and develops the activities of the Enterprise Agency network. Our purpose is to ensure that everyone considering entrepreneurship receives high-quality free guidance – locally, expertly and at the right time.
Advice provided at the early stages of entrepreneurship has a long-reaching effect. It prevents mistakes, improves profitability and increases employment. That is why we exist.
Smoother and safer entrepreneurship
The Enterprise Agency network advises in the establishment of more than 10,000 new companies annually. Finnish Enterprise Agencies is responsible for ensuring that the advice is of consistent, up-to-date and effective. We coordinate the joint development of the network, train experts and reform procedures. We also produce information on the early stages of entrepreneurship and influence entrepreneurship policy at the national level.
Our activities are based on cooperation: the public, private and third sectors working together to promote entrepreneurship.

Together with the network and partners
In our network, advisory services take place in Enterprise Agencies around Finland, of which there are already more than 40. The way in which the Enterprise Agencies are organised varies – our members include independent Enterprise Agencies, municipalities, cities, business and development companies and educational institutions.
With the support of our partners’ strong expertise, advisory work can be carried out more comprehensively and more extensively, serving new entrepreneurs in as high-quality and customer-oriented a way as possible.
Long experience – looking to the future
Finnish Enterprise Agencies was established in 1990. Our operations began with the need to bring together business advisory service models and competences that had sprung up in different parts of Finland.
For 35 years, we have developed the network of Enterprise Agencies that supports entrepreneurship locally and effectively. Today, we are a nationally significant operator – and we are still working to ensure that beginning entrepreneurship will be smooth, safe and sustainable in the future as well.
