Internationally recognized quality standard
The Enterprise Agency activity is expert advice certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, the aim of which is to ensure the high quality, effectiveness and uniform quality of the service provided to new entrepreneurs throughout Finland.
The quality system has been part of the network’s operations since 2009, and its maintenance and management is the responsibility of Suomen Uusyrityskeskukset ry (Finnish Enterprise Agencies). The certification has been externally audited and granted by Kiwa Sertifiointi Oy.
Uniform operating model – local effectiveness
The quality system relies on the network’s own Concept Handbook, which describes the core stages of the advisory process for new entrepreneurs and guides daily work in each agency. The concept manual is based on the requirements of the ISO standard and brings them to daily guidance situations, ensuring uniform quality and continuous development.

Finnish Enterprise Agencies’ quality policy
The purpose of Finnish Enterprise Agencies is to create profitable and growing companies in Finland. We function as a cooperation organisation for new entrepreneurship and Enterprise Agencies: as an influencer, developer, advocate and active participant in discourse. We maintain and establish contacts between operators promoting entrepreneurship and the business sector both in Finland and abroad. We organise coaching, training and discussion events as well as networking opportunities and stakeholder events for Enterprise Agencies and our partners.
The local Enterprise Agencies work to create profitable and growing businesses in Finland. At the local and regional level, the Enterprise Agencies maintain and establish contacts between operators promoting entrepreneurship and the business sector. The Enterprise Agencies provide advisory services for new entrepreneurs and other business advisory services that are free of charge for customers and mainly municipality-funded.
The quality policy of Enterprise Agencies includes the development and provision of high-quality services in accordance with customer needs.
Quality management is part of the planning of operations, with the aim of highlighting and promoting the high quality and effectiveness of operations. We encourage and oblige personnel and networks to participate in quality development.
The organisation and its senior management are committed to the standard and the concept manual, meeting and developing their requirements, and the continuous improvement of operations and processes.
Finnish Enterprise Agencies and its full members, that is, business advisory organisations engaged in Enterprise Agency operations, are ISO 9001 standardised.
