Buying a business or part of a business can speed up growth. Always plan carefully and make use of experts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A corporate acquisition can be a strategic step towards your company\u2019s growth. By buying another company, you can expand your operations to new geographic areas, strengthen your market position, or expand your service offerings. It can also bring new customer relationships, skilled personnel or production capacity without having to build everything from the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An acquisition requires careful preparation. Valuation, taxation, contracts and method of sale (whole stock or just the business or part of it?) are matters where expert assistance is usually necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discuss the matter with an expert at an early stage. You can first discuss the matter with your own accounting firm, municipality or development company\u2019s business advisor or professional business intermediary. They can provide advice on what should be taken into account when planning the acquisition.  Get tips on what to buy from various company sale websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
